RSVP cards
Wedding RSVPs are essential to your wedding preparations. Match your RSVPs to your wedding invites and request your guests confirm their presence at your wedding before a certain date. To simplify the task, and to do your bit for the environment, turn your RSVPs into RSVP post cards: print your return address on the back of your cards and stick a stamp on so all that your guests have to do is fill in the RSVP and post it! You can also request other information such as song preferences, menu choice and dietary requirements and transport requests. The RSVP date not only depends on you but also your venue and caterer. You may need to confirm the attendants 1 or 2 months before the wedding day, so your venue and caterers can prepare the setting and food in advance. Try and get your invitations out 3 to 6 months before your wedding, to give your guests enough time to check their calenders and make any necessary arrangements. Ask your guests to include the number of people attending, and whether this includes children, so you can organise children meals and entertainment for them. For the internet savvy, also include an email address your guests can RSVP too, and/or wedding website address.
